I’m Christina, AKA The Painted Lady, a birth doula who trades white-knuckle hospital runs for steady breathing and well-timed humor. Birth doesn’t have to be the chaos we see portrayed in media and googling can only do so much when you’re navigating a major life adjustment like bringing home a brand new baby. My approach folds evidence-based guidance into the kind of emotional backup that doesn’t flinch at 3 a.m. texts, because babies keep their own calendars. Whether you’re planning a water birth or eyeing the epidural menu, you’ll have clear information, practical prep, and a teammate who remembers to feed you between contractions.

I’m passionate about supporting new families and fully respect each mother’s autonomy in her ability to make informed decisions about her care. In my quiet corner of the world, I was married to my loving husband Jacob in 2018 and we share two beautiful children together. You might run into me at local climbing gyms and I frequently join the mud-run circuits when they come to town. Sagittarius of ‘92, born and raised in Georgia, forever loyal 90’s alternative and everything Nintendo.
